The morning after the concert we showered and were off. The poor little town was completely overrun by grungy Seattlites and Jazz festival goers finding breakfast was a pain.
Eventually we hit the road and began the trek from East WA near-desert through the Cascades and all the way to the Ocean Shores peninsula.
The drive was fairly uneventful… we went through Aberdeen (Cobain’s hometown) which had a sign “Welcome to Aberdeen, Come as You Are” which was pretty awesome. We figured we’d get a picture on our way back to Seattle, but as it happened we ended up going another way.
Ocean Shores reminds me a lot of the Jersey Shore (not the show). Super touristy and no one actually swims…
We went for a long walk on the beach, but forgot the camera.
The rest of the pictures for Day 3 here.
